KC Chamber Announces New Centurions

Venerable leadership program expands, adding spring cohort

For 42 years, the Centurions Leadership program has been grooming young men and women for leadership in their companies and their community.  This year, the KC Chamber expanded the popular and competitive program, adding a second cohort of the leadership program.
“We’re expanding the Centurions program because we know it works,” says Joe Reardon, President & CEO of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.  “Over the years of the program, Centurions graduates have gone on to become federal judges, CEOs, nonprofit executives and more.  Centurions alumni are usually deeply connected to our community and understand the importance of community service and civic leadership.  We need more of them.”
Centurions is a two-year program that looks deeply at community issues like education, entrepreneurship, transportation, and government, and requires a heavy commitment to community service.  Candidates for the program grow through a rigorous application and interview process.
